One of nineteen members who advised the Secretary of Health, as well as the Director of NIH, concerning potential biological and ecological hazards of recombinant DNA; Recommended procedures designed to present the spread within human and other populations of organisms which carry such molecules; Recommended guidelines to be followed by investigators working with potentially hazardous recombinant organisms.
